Howdy Ben. Had an interesting weekend discovering how influential business and trade associations are in Washington. My foci is on aerospace, but I'm sure the same applies across the board. The real movers and shakers group together to form lobby/education/non-profit groups that 'communicate' with the powers that be (congress/executive/media). My favorite is called the Coalition for Security and Competitiveness...really? Who isn't for security and competitiveness? http://www.securityandcompetitiveness.org/
