“We can understand the necessary limits of our reflections on the subjects which are beyond our reach. This can easily be demonstrated and will put an end once and for all to the trial.”
According to Professor Taleb, all knowledge and understanding is beyond one's reach. You'll find his theories quite interesting.... What interests me is how he develops thought behind using what we don't know into decisions, or a more academic pretty way of saying it, "...activism against those who fragilize it (e.g. politicians, economists, bankers)".
Professor Taleb, "My major hobby is teasing people who take themselves & the quality of their knowledge too seriously & those who don’t have the courage to sometimes say: I don’t know...." (You may not be able to change the world but can at least get some entertainment & make a living out of the epistemic arrogance of the human race).
